The EAF are grateful for the work carried out by the officers and the Chairman of the National Tournaments Committee to clarify appropriate cut-off dates and selection schedule.
We now have a set of non negotiable closing dates for submission of names for the outdoor season where AGB are involved. These will be the same for all Home Nations.
The EAF and National Tournament Committee (NTC) continued to be be in correspondence to discuss the cut off dates for submission of team details to the Tournament Organiser for the JNOC.
NTC continue to be happy to support the Junior Home Nations match within the JNOC weekend but with the growing number of applicants for places it has set the Home Nations deadline for submission of team details; this will enable the T.O. to manage the waiting list directly after the normal tournament cut off date. Dates are non negotiable.
Junior National Indoor Championships.
The deadline for the Junior National Indoor Championships is 6pm on 3rd October 2017 and 3 Portsmouth record status scores should be submitted. Scores achieved during the time 3rd October 2016 to 1st October 2017 are valid.

|EAF Cut Off Date||31st March 2017|
A survey of the winter edition of AUK and the AGB Tournament calendar on the website has revealed very few opportunities for junior archers across the country to gain scores in April and May. The EAF Committee is mindful of the possible impact on tournament organisers and their events.
Therefore, in fairness to all archers irrespective of their location that the following approach will be adopted this year: The cut off date for the JNOC to be 31 March.
Three 12 dozen scores achieved at Record Status events from 1st April 2016 should be submitted on the correct form available only on the EAF Web-site either in Word or readable PDF format by 31st March 2017. Selection will take place during April and the successful applicants will be informed and information posted on the web site.
Please note the submission forms have been revised please study them carefully.
Junior Commonwealth Europe Championships
We regret that England was unable to host the event in 2016 due to an over-complicated tournament calendar. However, after discussions with the other Home Nations at the Youth Talent Festival, held at Lilleshall, negotiations are underway for 2017. Further details and information will be posted here and on the 'What's New' page when it is available.
Please note the submission forms on EAF web-site have been revised please study them carefully.
Archers: Please note scores for submission should be the same as the Round, either Imperial or Metric for which the Team will compete at the respective event.
The FAQs have had a major revision and give more detail, in particular the EAF policy regarding minors wishing to submit scores for a senior team place.
If you have a query which is not answered in the FAQs then please contact your Regional Representative whose email address can be found on the EAF Management page of the web site.
