Archers are reminded  of the cut off date for submitting scores for selection to the Senior Home Nations Match - Monday 5th July 2010.

The team selected to represent England at the Commonwealth Games will NOT be representing England at the Home Nations match which takes place during the British Target Championships at Lilleshall on 14th August, so please send in your scores so that you may be considered for selection.

Shooting for England

Important Notice for Senior Archers - The date of the National Indoor has been brought forward to the first weekend in December 2010. Therefore the cut off date for submitting scores has been changed to 8th November.  For the 2010 tournament scores will accepted for shoots held from 1st January 2010

Trips are self funded but EAF will pay the competition entry fees and provide Team Management.
Where possible we will seek financial support from sponsors or other external funding bodies.

To qualify to shoot for England you must have submitted your scores in accordance with the current selection criteria

To be eligible to shoot for England an archer must be a member of an English club affiliated to GNAS via one of the five English regions.
He/she should not have shot for Great Britain in the previous season or current year for the discipline under consideration. (There will be occasions when GB Archers will be included and these will be advised when events occur- If in doubt check with selectors.)

You will only be considered for selection for an English team if you submit your scores on the OFFICIAL FORM (word format)  or .pdf file  by the deadlines as laid down.

A minimum of Three ( 3) Scores Must be submitted in all cases

For Senior Indoor Tournaments
Fita18, or Fita25 record status rounds shot since the 1st January in the current year
For Senior Outdoor Euronations / International Tournaments (except Commonwealth Games see CG2010 page)
Record Status Fita or Fita stars shot in current year
For Senior Outdoor Home Nations Tournaments ( British Championships)
Record Status- Fita, York/ Herefords or Fita stars shot in current year

 

For Junior Outdoor Euronations/International Tournaments
Record Status- Fita, Fita stars, 900, or Metric rounds, appropriate to age or above, shot from the Monday following the previous years tournament i.e. 26th July 2010. One Fita 70 or Fita 60 (according to age group) may be included as well as two 12 dozen rounds.
For Junior Outdoor Home Nations Tournaments (National Junior Championships Weekend)
Record Status- Fita, Fita stars, or Metric rounds, appropriate to age or above shot in current year shot from the Monday following the previous years tournament i.e.(5th July 2010)

 

****  Weighting will be given to scores submitted from the current outdoor season when applying for selection to shoot in the Junior Euronations or Home Nations matches.


For Junior Indoor Tournaments
Record status - Fita18, Fita25, or Portsmouth rounds shot in current year.

All British Field Championships
Team will be taken from those that have entered the competition.  Using the highest ranked in each discipline.
