You will only be considered for selection for an English team if you submit your scores on the OFFICIAL FORM (word format)  or .pdf file  by the deadlines as laid down.

A minimum of Three ( 3) Scores Must be submitted in all cases

 

****  Weighting will be given to scores submitted from the current outdoor season when applying for selection to represent England.

Senior Indoor Tournaments
Fita18, or Fita25 record status rounds shot since Monday following the National Indoor (5th December 2011)
Senior Outdoor Euronations / International Tournaments (except Commonwealth Games see CG2010 page)
Record Status Fita or Fita stars shot from the Monday following the previous years tournament i.e.11th July 2011 at least one score must be shot in the current season.
Senior Outdoor Home Nations Tournaments ( British Championships)
Record Status- Fita, or Fita stars shot from the Monday following the previous years tournament i.e.15th August 2011 at least one score must be shot in the current season.

 

Junior Outdoor Euronations/International Tournaments
Record Status- Fita, Fita stars, 900, or Metric rounds, appropriate to age or above, shot from the Monday following the previous years tournament i.e. 25th July 2011. One Fita 70 or Fita 60 (according to age group) may be included as well as two 12 dozen rounds. 

at least one score must be shot in the current season.
Junior Outdoor Home Nations Tournaments (National Junior Championships Weekend)
Record Status- Fita, Fita stars, or Metric rounds, appropriate to age or above  shot from the Monday following the previous years tournament i.e.(4th July 2011)  at least one score must be shot in the current season.

 

Junior Indoor Tournaments
Record status - Fita18, Fita25, or Portsmouth rounds shot since the Monday following the Junior National Indoor (5th December 2010).

All British Field Championships
Team will be taken from those that have entered the competition.  Using the highest ranked in each discipline.

Recurve and Compound Teams are entered for International or Home Nations tournaments each year. We regularly send teams to:

We also sent a team to the Commonwealth Archery Championship in India.2006, to the Commonwealth Games in Delhi 2010.

Trips are self funded but EAF will pay the competition entry fees and provide Team Management.
Where possible we will seek financial support from sponsors or other external funding bodies.

To qualify to shoot for England you must have submitted your scores in accordance with the current selection criteria

To be eligible to shoot for England an archer must be a member of an English club affiliated to GNAS via one of the five English regions.
He/she should not have shot for Great Britain since the date of the previous shoot for the discipline and event under consideration. (There will be occasions when GB Archers will be included and these will be advised when events occur- If in doubt check with selectors.)
